We seek to offer programs that will capture the interest of our entire congregation. Here you will find many of our ongoing programs.
Chavurot—These small extended-family-like groups within the temple are based on common interests and encourage close friendships and support. More info
Caring Committee—Our goal to be a warm and loving congregation is realized through the help and support we offer to our members in need. TBE members volunteer to visit the sick, deliver meals, drive seniors to services and support families mourning the death of a loved one. Contact Kate Connor at 689-9459.
Brotherhood and Sisterhood—Our men's and women's organizations support Temple life through service, fellowship and fundraising. Sponsored activities include the Chanukah Fair, Gift Shop, Progressive Dinner, Appraisal Day, Deli Dinner, Entertainment Book sales, bike rides, Sunday bagel brunches and speaker programs.

Congregational Dinners—A few times a year, we have Shabbat dinners at the synagogue to bring together our diverse Temple Family in a relaxed setting, enhancing the spirit of community.
Foster Grandparent Program—We will be matching seniors with families in our congregation. If you are a senior who would like to be "adopted" or a family with extra love to share, contact Tami Ellis at 688-7771 or TamaraME20@aol.com.
Chevra Kadisha, Burial Society—This group of dedicated volunteers provides the ritual and spiritual care of beloved dead through traditional Jewish funeral services.

Beth El Choir—Our adult choir enhances Shabbat and holiday services with its inspiring repertoire and beautiful harmonies. Directed by the fabulous Leta Miller, the choir performs historically and musically interesting works by Jewish composers. The choir occasionally performs at musical events outside the Temple. We welcome our new choir director, Rebecca Seeman.
