Temple Book Club
 

The Temple Beth El book club is open to all of our members. Also, check the Sisterhood page for the Sisterhood Book Club, or below for Rabbi Rick's men's book club.

Upcoming meeting

The Temple Book Club will meet on Tuesday, June 9 at 7:30 PM, at the Hendins', in Santa Cruz. The book to be discussed will be " The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit: A Jewish Family's Exodus from Old Cairo to the New World" by author Lucette Lagnado. Lagnado is an award-winning investigative reporter for the Wall Street Journal, and this is her family's story. The book is available in paperback.

Books recommended by Rabbi Eric Yoffie, President of the URJ, offers a study guide for each book listed. Rabbi Yoffie recommends two books each quarter.
