Sacred and Shtark (strong): Championing Reproductive Freedom, Now and Next

Dr. Magda Peck, a seasoned national leader for women’s health, will share perspectives on safeguarding reproductive rights, through dual lenses of evidence-based practices and core Jewish values: human dignity, preserving life, and equity. Revisiting personal and public milestones since 1973, she will share stories and strategies for championing comprehensive, compassionate contraception and abortion care, as essential components of women’s health.  On ReproShabbat 2026, with access and affordability increasingly beyond women’s reach, based solely on the state where women wake, work and worship, she hopes to lift up ways we can be responsible for one another, stronger together in action and advocacy.
