Vaccinations

All Temple Beth El and Simcha Preschool's staff are fully vaccinated and boosted. Simcha Preschool encourages all children attending to be vaccinated against Covid-19, but no longer requires it.

Masking

Masks will be optional for adults and children in all preschool areas including classrooms. No one should be questioned or treated negatively based on their choice to mask or not mask. Parents who prefer that their child wear a mask are asked to speak directly to their child’s teachers.

Masks will be required in the following circumstances:

• • Any child or adult with a known COVID exposure must wear a mask around others for 10 days after the exposure, even if symptom-free and testing negative.
  • Any individual who has had COVID and tests negative between days 5 and 10, may return to campus on day 6 but must wear a mask around others through day 10.
  • If there is an exposure in a classroom, all members of the class will wear masks for 10 days following the exposure.
  • We reserve the right to require masks in other unforeseen circumstances.
  • We will always follow mask mandates if they are imposed by the county, state, or licensing.

We ask parents to keep a supply of masks for your child in their classroom for the situations above.
