Brotherhood’s Bagel Brunch returns at long last at 10 am Sunday, October 31, featuring community philanthropist, activist, developer, family man and long-time Temple and Brotherhood member George Ow (pictured here with his wife Gail Michaelis-Ow).  If you’ve heard George speak about his family’s fascinating “Coming to America” story, his civic and cultural preservation projects, and how Santa Cruz history and politics have influenced the County’s development, you know you’re in for a treat.  For those of us who are cautious about Covid, we’ll be meeting outside on the porch adjacent to the Temple social hall.  But we’ll have all of Brotherhood’s usual tasty brunch of bagels, lox, schmears, coffee, tea, juice and yummy extras.  Beginning at 10 am we'll enjoy brunch, take care of a little Brotherhood business, followed by George’s talk at 11, concluding by noon.  Recommended donation is $5 for Brotherhood members and $7 for non-members.  Open to all of TBE and guests!
