BROTHERHOOD WELCOMES ANN RAVEL TO OUR 10 AM SUNDAY MAY 18 BAGEL BRUNCH – All TBE Invited “Democracy and Election Integrity in the U.S. and Mexico”

Internationally acclaimed lawyer Ann Ravel is our featured speaker at the Bagel Brunch on Sunday, May 18.  Ms. Ravel is the former Chair of the Federal Election Commission and Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice appointed by President Obama, and former Chair of California’s Fair Political Practices Commission.  She recently worked with Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum and that country’s Supreme Court to ensure a free and fair election.  Ms. Ravel, who was honored earlier this year as “Woman of the Year” by the California State Senate, is a professor at UC Berkeley School of Law and will be the graduation speaker at the school a week before her joining our brunch.  Her presentation promises to be interesting and enlightening!  Beginning at 10 am, we'll host our always delicious lox and bagel brunch, take care of a little Brotherhood business, followed by Ms. Ravel’s presentation starting at 11:00, with a Q&A session concluding around noon.  Charge is $5 for Brotherhood members and $10 for non-members.  All TBE welcome!
