We are thrilled to welcome the great teacher Deena Metzger to Temple Beth El, a Jewish American novelist, poet, and healer who has been an enormous force in convening, engaging, and sustaining life-giving communities of artists, healers, and activists for over 50 years. Drawing from 25 years of work with her guiding ethical framework, the 19 Ways to a Viable Future For All Beings, Deena will speak about her new book, and the urgency and importance of engaging with ethics at this critical and unprecedented time in history, when so much destruction is at hand. In her life-transforming work with countless students, Deena demonstrates and guides us in engaging the most essential question, "How can we meet these times?"
