Antisemitism is increasing around the world, in the United States, and even in California. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is here to help. Through this empowering session, ADL will illuminate contemporary trends in antisemitism and provide tools and strategies that you can use to respond to antisemitism wherever you might encounter it. Q&A to follow the presentation.
Speaker: Alystar Sacks, Assistant Regional Director of ADL's Central Pacific Region (office based in San Francisco, and serving Northern California, Utah, and Hawai'i). Among other projects in her portfolio, she responds to incidents of hate in the local community and also manages ADL's Glass Leadership Institute for young professionals. She has worked in the Jewish nonprofit field for many years and holds a MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz.
