TU BOCA IN LOS CIELOS: Your Wishes In Heaven paints a poetic portrait of the Sephardic Jews of Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, from their expulsion from Spain in 1492 to the present day. The film is a love letter to Queen Isabella, thanking her for forcing the Jews into a new, vibrant life in exotic North Africa. Over 500 years after the expulsion the queen is forgiven, as life turned out fairly well for the Jewish refugees in North Africa, as documented in this beautiful film.
