Sukkot and October 7 Programs
Monday, October 6 5-6pm (Erev Sukkot) Snacks in the Sukkah. Bring some hors d'oeuvres to share. We will have a Sukkot craft for the kids that they can hang up in the sukkah afterwards if they would like.
Tuesday, October 7 7-9pm A Time to Cry, a Time to Pray. Join us at this community-wide event as we mark October 7 together. We will pray, share, cry, sing, and view the films Oz’s List and Partners In Fate. These films about heroic rescue on October 7th are uplifting, yet difficult to watch and not appropriate for children. There will also be an opportunity for those who choose not to watch the film to join in the prayer and sharing. If you would like, please bring a picnic dinner to eat beforehand in or around the sukkah.6pm BYO Picnic dinner in and around the sukkah, 7pm Prayer and singing (for everyone, all ages), 7:30pm Movie (not appropriate for sensitive individuals or children).
Wednesday, October 8 Temple School and Hebrew High Sukkot Programs.
Thursday, October 9 Stay tuned for details about a lunch in the sukkah.
Friday, October 10 6pm Shabbos Tisch in and around the Sukkah.
Saturday, October 11 We join with Chadeish Yameinu.
Sunday, October 12 9:45am-12:30pm Temple School Kindergarten Consecration, Simchat Torah Celebration and Pizza in the Hut.
